While
attending
Humboldt
State
University
in 1978,
I was
introduced
to my
first
Arabian
horse. It
was only
after
watching
Bey Shah
at liberty
in Grants
Pass,
Oregon
did I
know that
a life
long commitment
with Arabian
horses
was in
store
for me.
Between
1978 and
1989,
I concentrated
on studying
pedigrees,
developing
my preferences,
and learning
about
the breed. I
created
an ideal
Arabian
image
in my
mind and
started
breeding
toward
my goal.
Upon
graduating
nursing
school
and after
a long
search
for the
perfect
mare,
I found
Kaiyete
(Kaiyoum
x Lady
Eter).

After
Fames Fax
(1994 U.S.
Reserve
National
Champion)
was born,
I knew I
was on the
right track.
Today,
all of my
breeding
decisions
are made
with my
daughter,
Lauren,
and we try
hard to
be mavericks
in the breeding
arena. Our
goal with
every foal
is to improve
the quality
and preserve
Arabian
type.
We
are trying
to raise
the standard
without
sacrificing
athleticism. We
want to
imprint
ourselves
in the Arabian
archives
as making
an improvement
in the breed. We
welcome
you to be
a part of
making history
with us.
