Fames Fax was without a doubt the most controversial mare of our time, loved by many, and feared by most.  The epitome of Arabian type and beauty she stood out as the premier show horse.

I give my thanks to Steve Heathcott, who paved the way for Michael Byatt to take her to the supreme honor of Scottsdale Grand Champion, Canadian National Champion, and U.S. Reserve National Champion Mare.  In fact, Fames Fax was Michael’s second National Champion Mare career title following Bey Teyna.

She sparked the great Kaiyoum/Fame VF cross.  I am proud to say that Don Heathcott and I also bred Ffamess (sire of Sir Fames) who was a two time Brazilian National Champion Stallion.
